What is Starfleet Institute of Learning

Starfleet Institute of Learning is a middle school educational program which initially began within the Los Angeles Unified School District, on the campus of Madison Middle School in North Hollywood, California, as Starfleet Institute of the Sciences.    Under the command of Admiral JoAnna Kunes, Academy Training Officers provide the students with an authentic Starfleet atmosphere integrating Federation guidelines and directives with LAUSD, state and national educational standards.  The curriculum emphasizes space science and mathematics, using innovative and engaging methodologies.  As cadets, the students advance through their classes acquiring rank as they progress through the program, gaining confidence in their abilities to perform as Starfleet officers-in-training.

Now, encompassing all core academic subjects,Starfleet's southern satellite campus, the Starfleet Institute of Learning, is located at Dacula Middle School, in Dacula, Georgia.  Under the command of Admiral Kellye Riggins, Starfleet Training Officers continue to boldly take students where no classes have gone before!
