Arts & Social Studies
 | Welcome back! |
| In language arts, we will
focus on the various parts of speech, sentence structure, and
grammar basics as we prepare for our first encounter with the
Grammarians. |
| Also, we will find out
how we learn best and adapt our educational starship to meet those
needs! |
| Our first novel study
will take us to the mysterious red planet Mars, and a missing
scientist! Was it murder among the colonists or something more
sinister? |
| In social studies, we
will travel to the birthplace of civilization and the three major
monotheistic religions! |
| What's all the fuss about
oil anyway? We'll find that out, too, as we trek through the
Middle East! |

Math &
Science
| I pass, you pass, we all
pass with iPass! (What is that all about?) We will begin this
quarter learning how to negotiate with the Mathonians through the
use of iPass! |
| Additionally, our math
experiences will take us through a study on data gathering and
analysis as we master Microsoft Excel! |
| In Science, we will take
an ecological journey through the various biomes of this planet,
studying the flora and fauna. |
| Just exactly how do
unrelated organisms impact one another in an ecosystem? The
answers await! |
| Don't forget your
classroom supplies! Preparedness is one key to academic
success! |
